Pop singer and actress whose numerous studio albums include "Kurot sa Puso," "Merry Christmas Donna," "Now and Forever," and more. She's acted in television series like Daldalita, Villa Quintana, and Ober Da Bakod. She's also appeared in feature films including Pretty Boy, Campus Girls, and Habang May Buhay.

Before Fame

She competed in pageants and singing championships as a young child including the Eat Bulaga! Little Miss Philippines pageant, where she was a finalist. She also participated in the Bulilit Kampeon pageant, which she won. In 1989, she was officially signed by Viva Records and released her 1st album "Donna" just 2 years later at the age of 14.

Trivia

Some of her many accolades include 2 Awit Awards. One is for Best New Female Recording Artist in 1992, while the other is for Best Ballad Recording in 1995. She also won a Best Supporting Actress Award from the Metro Manila Film Festival in 1995 for her performance in the film Muling Umawit ang Puso.

Family Life

She is the daughter of Renato Yrastorza and Yolly Cruz. She married her husband Potenciano "Yong" Larrazabal III (and ophthalmologist) in 1998. They have 3 children.

She co-starred in the 1993 film Kadenang Bulaklak alongside Vina Morales and Angelu De Leon. The following year, she starred in the drama film Pangako Ng Kahapon opposite Agot IsidroAlice Dixson, and Charito Solis.
