When a panicked Emma won best actress for her impressive role in Yorgos Lanthimosâs dark fantasy-comedy Poor Things, she said, âMy voice is also a little gone,â adding that she is âso deeply honoredâ.
Stone then thanked her family, including her parents, her brother, and her husband Dave McCary. âI love you so much,â she said. âAnd, most importantly, my daughter, whoâs gonna be three in three days.â
She said how their daughter âturned our lives technicolour,â before adding, âI love you bigger than the whole sky, my girl.â It is a reference to a lyric from Taylor Swiftâs song, Bigger Than the Whole Sky.

When Emma said she âloves you bigger than the whole sky,â referencing her three-year-old daughter, she was referencing Taylorâs lyrics in her Midnights (3am Edition) album song, Bigger Than The Whole Sky.
Fans have widely interpreted Bigger Than the Whole Sky as being written about grief or the loss of a loved one, with many theorising that the song is about miscarriage.
