The Portokalos family is back to take us on another adventure in My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3! The film made its debut on Sept. 8, 2023. So is it streaming on Netflix?
While the first two movies were set in Chicago, the third installment in the romantic comedy franchise takes the family to Greece! Following the passing of her father Gus, Toula wants to fulfill his last wish of delivering his journal to his old best friends who he grew up with in the village in Greece where they’re from. Of course, the family can’t let Toula go alone, so, everyone heads over for a hilarious adventure in their home country.
Sometimes films come straight to streaming, while others debut in theaters first. So where can you watch the movie? We’ve got the answer for you below!
My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3 is not streaming on Netflix. On Sept. 8, the film began playing exclusively in cinemas. That means we’re going to have to wait a while until the movie comes to streaming. And when it does, the film will most likely stream on Peacock as it was produced by Universal Pictures. Both the company and streaming service are owned by NBCUniversal, which is why Peacock will likely be the film’s streaming home.
The great thing about sequels is that they usually have main characters from the original show or movie reprising their roles. And lucky us, the third installment has many familiar faces!
Nia Vardalos is back as Toula, John Corbett as her husband Ian, Andrea Martin as Aunt Voula, and more. Unfortunately, actor Michael Constantine who played Gus Portokalos, is not in the movie as the actor passed away in 2021. We shared the full cast list below:
