The drama film was written and directed by John Lee Hancock. You may know some of his work, such as the neo-noir crime thriller The Little Things. It stars Sandra Bullock, Tim McGraw and Quinton Aaron.

When the film came out in 2009, people fell in love with the compelling performances by the actors in the film, more specifically, Sandra Bullock. Bullock even went on to win many awards in that award season for her portrayal as Leigh Anne Tuohy.
