Travis Kelce recently said his encounter with Chris Hemsworth felt like he met his “long-lost brother”, and Jason clearly doesn’t mind whatsoever.

It’s always fun to discuss which of the rich and the famous you believe you’d get along, well, famously with—if you’d excuse the pun. Most of us will never know for sure. On the other hand, American footballer for the Kansas City Chiefs Travis Kelce is a man who will have no shortage of opportunities to brush elbows with some of the biggest names in Hollywood. He’s had the chance to meet plenty of movie stars, but there’s one he feels a fondness for like no other.

As you may know, Travis is the passionate co-host of the podcast New Heights alongside his brother Jason Kelce, a Philadelphia Eagles legend.

During a recent episode, the brothers and their guest Andrew Santino, an American actor and comedian, got onto the topic of discussing Australia.

“There’s something about the Aussies, man
” Travis remarked. “I ran into [Chris] Hemsworth one night and it was like I met my long-lost brother.

“Within two minutes I’m like ‘Dude, we need to rip it again. We don’t have enough time right now but we gotta do it again.'”

With his real-life brother helming the pod alongside the celebrity, you may have expected some comment of intervention


Nope.

Jason wasn’t about to chime in on Chris, the 40-year-old star best known for playing Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

After the 2024 Oscars ceremony, Travis and his partner Taylor Swift attended a party afterward despite not attending the prestigious ceremony itself.

Hosted by Madonna at her talent manager’s home, famous faces from Leonardo DiCaprio to Channing Tatum were said to be in attendance.

“[Travis and Taylor] were on the patio and in great moods,” a source at the party relayed to People magazine. “She had a very happy, giant smile. He was protective of her and she was
delightful and glowing—they seemed very happy together and loving the night.”

Following the event, Travis’ fans couldn’t help but notice he’d gained a very famous follower in the one and only Chris Hemsworth.

Could we be witnessing the beginning of a beautiful bromance in bloom? It sure looks promising.
