Sizemore has battled drug addiction since he was 15

Tom Sizemore has struggled with drug addiction since he was young. In 2003, he was found guilty of committing domestic violence against his girlfriend, Heidi Fleiss, who was known as the “Hollywood Madam”.

He was then given a seven-month prison sentence and four months of drug treatment due to repeatedly failing drug tests while on probation on March 25, 2005.

While still on probation for a prior drug offense, Sizemore was arrested outside a hotel in Bakersfield, California, for possessing methamphetamine on May 8, 2007.

According to Sizemore, he began to get sober after being seriously questioned by actor Robert De Niro in a 2013 interview, who then personally helped him check into a rehabilitation facility.
