But even if critics hate it, all that matters is the audience score and whether the show generates profit for Amazon, which remains to be seen.
Citadel was orchestrated as the start of an international franchise spanning multiple spinoff series, and a second season was already ordered before the first one even premiered. The story centers on the powerful agency Citadel which has since fallen, leaving all of its agents without their memories.
