Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is the last James Gunn installment in the Marvel franchise. Where will you be able to stream the latest Marvel movie?
Endgame was certainly the end of one era. Now we’re coming to the end of another one. James Gunn has his last Guardians movie out in theaters, and it’s definitely one you need to head out to watch.
The movie picks up with the events of Endgame. Peter Quill is still mourning the loss of Gamora, but there’s a new threat to the universe—a threat that puts the entire Guardaisn team at risk. The team has already ended once the way we know it, but is there going to be another permanent change to the team?
Of course, once you’ve watched it once, you’ll want to watch it again and again. That means figuring out where it is on streaming.
We have to start off with some bad news. Despite previous Marvel movies once heading to Netflix, that’s not the case anymore. We will not see Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 on Netflix. At least, not right away and not any time soon.
Marvel is owned by Disney. It’s, therefore, not surprising to hear that the first streaming home is going to be Disney+.
Now, we have seen other Marvel movies go to other streaming platforms in the past. They are usually under non-exclusive deals as the movies remain on Disney+ as well. Netflix doesn’t really like non-exclusive deals, so there’s a chance that we won’t see this or other Marvel movies head to Netflix for as long as they’re also on Disney+. Disney has no need to share, to be honest.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is currently out in theaters.
