Onscreen husband and wife, Harry and Helen, are the ultimate power couple in the new series True Lies. The show is based on the 1994 James Cameron-directed movie of the same name. The drama is set to debut Wednesday, March 1, 2023. Will its release be on Netflix?

The production is centered around Harry (Steve Howey), who is a first-class international spy for U.S. intelligence agency Omega Sector and his wife Helen (Ginger Gonzaga ), a language professor who wants to change up her everyday routine, per the synopsis. Well, when she finds out what her husband actually does for a living, she gets recruited to work alongside Harry — and she proves to be a valuable asset.

The duo go on all sorts of adventures and have to keep what they’re doing a secret from their teens, of course. Their new working relationship may also be just what they need to renew the bond in their “emotionally distant marriage.”

So which platform is the show’s streaming home? We’ve got the answer for you below!

Unfortunately, True Lies will not be streaming on Netflix as it’s not a Netflix Original. That’s because it’s actually a broadcast television series, picked up by CBS. To tune in, you’ll either need cable to watch on Wednesday nights at 10 p.m. ET, or you can also subscribe to Paramount+ where the episodes will stream.

The premiere will see Helen get her first official assignment, going undercover with Harry in Madrid to “stop a bioweapon terrorist attack,” per the synopsis. Things get complicated for the spy as he has to keep his history with cryptographer Ximena, who they have to work with, a secret.

The series stars co-leads Steve Howey and Ginger Gonzaga as Harry and Helen, respectively. Joining the actors onscreen are Erica Hernandez as Maria, Omar Miller as Gib, Mike O’Gorman as Luther, Annabella Didion as Dana, and Lucas Jaye as Jake.

True Lies premieres Wednesday, March 1, 2023 on CBS. Episodes are also available to stream on Paramount+.
